Micro needling with Nimue TDS : Collagen Induction Therapy reduces fine lines, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation
WHAT IS MICRO NEEDLING?
MICRO NEEDLING WITH TDS reduces fine lines, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation because it is a minimally invasive, safe and chemical-free skin rejuvenation procedure that involves the use of a device that contains fine needles.
The needles are used to puncture the skin and create a channel that triggers the body to fill these microscopic wounds by producing new collagen and elastin.
It is a simple and fast method for safely treating wrinkles and scars and because the epidermis remains intact, the procedure is also suited to regions where laser treatments and deep peels are not typically performed.
Micro needling has none of the common risks and offer all the advantages of the most invasive and most expensive treatments. The 1mm needle can only go in the skin so far and is less invasive than permanent make-up, tattooing and electrolysis.
Clinical studies from Europe, U.S and South Korea have proven that active products absorption increased by as much as 1,000 percent with Micro needling. They have also shown that treatment with the roller is more consistent in increasing the thickness of the skin than other surfacing treatments.
WHAT ARE THE GENERAL BENEFITS OF MICRO NEEDLING?
There is a visible improvement in:
-Skin texture and firmness
-Reduction in scars
-Reduction of Hyper pigmented skin
-Collagen stimulation
-No negative effect and skin damage
-Can be use on thin skin
-Increases the effectiveness of products
-Restoration of volume and plumpness of the skin
–Reserve Skin Aging
The skin consists of two main layers, the epidermis and the dermis. The epidermal cells turn over quick and they are constantly being produced at the bottom of epidermis and It takes about twenty days for the cells to get from the bottom to the skin surface where they are sloughed off.
This continuous process slows down with the age.
- When you are 15 years old, 50% of the original collagen remains (the rest has been replaced).
- When you are 30 years old, 25% of the original collagen is still in your skin.
- When you are 45 years old, 12.5% of the original collagen is still in your skin.
- When you are 60 years old, 6.25% of the original collagen is still in your skin.
That’s the reason why we get wrinkles and sun damage.
The big deal with Micro needling is that you can trick the body to trigger collagen and elastin much sooner than the natural rate of turnover. That’s why MICRO NEEDLING WITH TDS reduces fine lines, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation.
Reduce Hyper pigmented skin
Usually, hyperpigmentation is the result of locally excessive melanin production which is the pigment that determines the colour of our skin. Excessive melanin production can also be the result of skin trauma – sun burns, acne, cuts, bug bites etc.
If the hyperpigmentation is present in the epidermis, it responds very well to Micro needling. If it is in the dermis (deeper part of the skin), it also responds but it takes much longer. You have to avoid excessive sun exposure and always use a sunscreen. Ignoring this advice may lead to a reappearance of the pigmentation.
Using Micro needling to facilitate the skin penetration of creams can be a very successful treatment for persistent or deep hyperpigmentation.
